Determination of quality and some technological characteristics of some bean varieties (Phaseolus vulgaris L.)

Aims: This study was carried out with 12 registered bean cultivars (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) obtained from various institutes in the Faculty of Agriculture Laboratory 2022.Methods and Results: It is aimed to determine quality some technological properties seeds such as moisture content, hectoliter weight, dry fresh wet volume, water absorption capacity index, swelling index cooking time seeds. Data were analyzed according Completely Random Plots Experimental Design means compared DUNCAN test. As a result, content grain varied between 7.55-9.40%, weight 70.4-83.7 kg hl-1, 12.91-48.73 g, 26.24-97.09 volume 122.67-190.67 ml, 68.75-92.51 intake 0.072-0.551 g grain-1, 0.32-1.39%, 0.11-0.49 ml 2.04-2.47% 33.0-54.5 minutes. According results correlation analysis, there positive significant relationships values (r= 0.88**), (r=0.89**), (r=0.77**) (r=0.92**). Positive also found (r=0.97 **), (r=0.87 (r=0.94**). A good result observed (r=0.93**) (r=0.98**).Positive highly determined (r=0.87**).Conclusions: consumer market preferences, Adabeyazı variety has highest weight.
